Gaindyke Dobermanns was established by Lynn Glass in 1984 and then transfered into joint ownership with myself, John Hull formaly Brubacker Dobermanns in 1995 .....

UK Ch.Gaindyke Fancy Free

Lynn and I had individually been interested in European bloodlines for several years when we met at the World Show in Brussels in 1995.

The first Gaindyke Champion was Born in 1991. She was Ch.Gaindyke Fancy Free, owned by Lynne & Jim Gould from Newcastle

In 1997 we imported the brother and sister - Victor and Vicky Van Roveline

Victor or ‘Vito’ as he is known has had a profound influence on the Dobermann in the UK. Producing several sucessful Show and Working dogs, whose progeny in turn have gone on to produce many other sucessful Dobermann. Sadly we lost Vito on the 29th January 2004 to renal failure.

In 2000 we imported Yeris Van De Wutjeshoveve from Willy Op De Beek in Belgium

We pride ourselves as being one of the very few kennels in the UK whose dogs and progeny are actively engaged in the Schutzhund Sport with a reasonable amount of success.
